话题分析

“收钱做礼物的经历”是一道经历类新题，对于中国传统习俗来说，也算是比较经常存在的现象。

大家可以聊：过年时候的压岁钱、考上大学/成人礼时的红包、生病别人来探望送的钱、结婚的礼金、节日收到的红包、或者是达成某个目标别人承诺给的奖励。但要注意的是，如果要聊“过年压岁钱”、“节日红包”，还是得带一点特别的事件，不然很容易泛泛而谈，没有亮点也比较难拓展。

I would like to talk about how I got money as gifts at my coming-of-age ceremony.

In my hometown, it's common for a girl's family to throw her a big coming-of-age party when she turns 16. When I was 16, my parents did the same for me.

I could still remember that my favourite colour, lavender, was used a lot on the stage. I asked all of my closest friends and family members. Everyone gave me delicate gifts like crystal balls, pens, notebooks, and other things. My grandparents gave me a large amount of lucky money, which was a surprise. They said," "We older people can't keep up with your younger generation's fashions and tastes, so we decide to give you the red envelope as a gift. This red envelope has our love and blessings for you so you can go buy whatever you want." As soon as they stopped talking, I started crying. And I said, "This is one of the best gifts I've ever gotten, and I'll keep it forever."

Since then, I've learned that gifts aren't about how much they cost or what shape they come in. Instead, they're about love and friendship from the gifts ,which is a token of regard.
